Need a follow-up appointment and some tender loving care from your Midwife? This session, available from birth to 6 weeks, ensures you and your baby are doing well post-birth.

During this appointment, your midwife will:

• Assess your health, including blood pressure, wound evaluation, and general observations
• Conduct a comprehensive head-to-toe assessment and weigh your baby
• Monitor breastfeeding (if you choose to breastfeed)

•  Prescribe medications if necessary
• Make any needed referrals
• Request blood tests and ultrasounds if necessary
